Advanced Silicon’s DAC drivers are designed to be directly connected to TFT panels and to drive the columns of the pixels array. They are aimed at driving the source electrode of the TFT device associated to the pixel capacitance, and to transfer with the highest accuracy the grey scale voltage levels from the source electrode to the pixel ITO capacitance through the drain electrode while the TFT device is turned on.
