Advanced Silicon develops and delivers mixed modes integrated circuits with high-voltage expertise, for consumer electronics, computers and peripherals as well as for high-end applications. The product offer includes both application specific standard products (ASSPs) and full custom ICs (ASICs). Ranging from simple drivers up to complex systems-on-chip (SoCs), they play an important interface role at the frontier between information processing circuits and their peripherals, where high-current or high-voltage capabilities are required.
Thanks to its expertise in analog HV technologies and based on an extensive library of qualified IPs Advanced Silicon designs innovative chips which improve the efficiency, footprint and cost of end-systems by combining on the same substrate complex functions typically implemented with discrete ICs.
A fabless semiconductor provider, Advanced Silicon relies on in-house R&D, marketing and sales, with a strong production control unit dedicated for the outsourcing of manufacturing activities. During the R&D phase, the company has its own testing and qualification facilities, enabling a complete in-house development flow prior the transfer to the manufacturing stage. Advanced Silicon has privileged access to a network of certified Far-Eastern production facilities including foundries, packaging subcontractors and test houses. It supplies packaged or naked dies in medium to high-volumes, according to the highest manufacturing standards.
Our current product lines focus on:
-
Consumer electronics. Typical products include Flat panel displays controllers, power management units as well as all-in-one chips for use in PCs, PC peripherals, camcorders, digital still cameras and the like.
- High-end applications. Circuits in this category are mainly mixed-mode and mixed-voltage ASICs developed for medical, avionic, telecom and military applications.
Advanced Silicon strives continually to broaden its product portfolio through the development of new chip sets dedicated to the above mentioned markets. Our expansion plan also targets Projected Capacitive Touch Applications.
