Advanced Silicon’s TSC57xxA is a family of high-precision single chip capacitive touch sense interface controllers supporting up to 10 finger touch and basic gestures detection. They control up to 64 channels (X+Y) with a high flexibility of the channels configuration. The user can assign a drive or sensing function by configuring each channel individually to enable the use of different touch panel aspect ratios, necessary for the variety of touch screen handheld applications.

 

The TSC57xxA are part of Advanced Silicon’s PicoTouch™ family featuring very high sensitivity and noise performance for detecting extremely low capacitance changes in a noisy environment.

 

A Unique feature enabling a very small dimension of capacitive sensors particularly suitable for In-Cell Touch Panel technologies. The TSC57xxA can be controlled by SPI, I2C slave interface and USB.

 

Main target applications are High-End Smart Phones and tablet PCs.
