ASMTD6101/2A - SINGLE-PHASE FULL-WAVE DRIVER FOR DC FAN MOTOR
DESCRIPTION
The ASMTD6101/2A is a single-phase full-wave driver intended for small fan applications, such as CPU cooling fans. Low switching noise, effective motor drive and a compact package are among its main advantages.
The ASMTD6101/2A includes a lock shutdown, which turns-off the output current when the motor is under lock condition, and an automatic recovery that enables the fan to run when the lock condition is removed. Depending on the version, the circuit outputs a rotation detection signal (ASMTD6101A) or a speed indication signal (ASMTD6102A).
