Advanced Silicon’s monolithic ASICs family ranges from simple high-voltage drivers, through mixed-mode power circuits up to systems-on-chip.
In close cooperation with our customers and based on an extensive library of qualified IP, we offer optimized silicon solutions capable of meeting the most demanding customer application requirements.
A typical mixed-mode, high-voltage ASIC includes multiple power supplies, signal and data processing using on our 8-bit and 32-bit platforms, communication interfaces, protections and power output drivers.

In-house testing capability
Advanced Silicon has its own in-house testing capability for wafer test. Although final test is outsourced to qualified testing houses, Advanced Silicon has a full control and mastership of its testing strategy by developing and qualifying internally its test programs on a duplicated in-house test platform as the one used in the testing house. Upon test qualification and approval by end customers, the programs are transferred securely to the production site.
Product Reliability Qualification
Advanced Silicon commits to different grades of product quality requirements ranging from JEDEC and MIL standards to the automotive AEC-Q100 standards. Basic in-house qualifications are performed prior to the final qualification execution by certified laboratories. These qualifications use high-quality internal reliability tests equipment and allow testing the limits of the device performance to get the best products quality.

Failure Analysis capabilities
Thanks to its internal most advanced equipment, Advanced Silicon can guarantee a fast failure analysis loop of field return parts by performing accurate analysis and understanding of the failure’s root cause. Corrective actions are managed by systematic 8D reports and a continuous improvement strategy are enabled by the internal failure analysis capabilities to meet customer satisfaction.
Internal Failure Analysis equipment:
- Electrical analysis with parametric analyzer: HP4155B or chip evaluation set-up
- Chip decaping and back side polishing
- Emission microscope or OBIRCH machine (Hamamatsu PHEMOS-1000) to spot the failure under bias conditions
External Failure Analysis facilities:
- FIB / TEM / SEM cross section
- Delayering
