Heat and Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC)
A central HVAC system is composed of several actuators controlling flaps position mixing between hot and cool air flow in order to maintain the selected cabin temperature. These actuators are smart slaves and are controlled by a central climate unit through the same LIN bus.
The Advanced Silicon new 8-bit CPU platform is dedicated to control the complete actuator system by embedding the controller, the memory, the LIN interface, the power management and the motor drive circuits. Our solution enables the highest integration density reducing the total external components to a simple decoupling capacitor connected in parallel to the chip.
The MTS64xx family follows the highest automotive development and qualification standards in order to meet our target of zero defect policy and to provide a total quality commitment to our customers. Our qualification standard follows the all Automotive Electronic Council recommendations (AEC-Qxxx). Additional in line screening methodologies are used on all parts to guaranty our zero defect strategy.
